Shu Qi
Current
Shu Qi is a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ICAEW) with a background in a Big Four firm, venture capital, and SME advisory. She currently runs a fractional CFO and fundraising boutique, working closely with founders and business owners across Southeast Asia on financial structuring, capital planning, and growth strategy. She is also an ex-VC investor and the organiser of Kuala Lumpur's largest monthly investor gathering, bringing together VCs, angels, and founders in the ecosystem.

Through her work in venture capital and advisory, Shu Qi observed persistent operational and execution gaps within SMEs. This led her to focus on translating AI capabilities into practical, implementable solutions that directly improve how SMEs operate, make decisions, and scale.
Edward Low
Current
Edward Low is an Enterprise Transformation Lead with a background spanning operations, AI & automation, and venture capital. He previously served as the AI Program Lead at Synergy House, a Malaysia-listed company, where he led organisation-wide AI and automation initiatives across 18 departments, from Finance and HR to Warehouse and Inventory. He managed teams of up to 16 and reported project outcomes and ROI directly to the CEO. He also designed and implemented employee training programs to overcome the core adoption barrier: "people don't know how to use it." Earlier in his career, Edward worked in venture capital, analysing business models and growth strategies. That experience sharpened his ability to identify high-quality, productisable workflows & systems, turning internal operational improvements into scalable growth opportunities. Today, through BaoKaLiao AI, Edward helps SMEs modernise through practical, real-world AI implementation. He also regularly hosts builder and tech community events, bringing together operators and builders who are serious about shipping with AI.

Brendan Beh
Current
Brendan Beh is a founder and venture studio operator focused on building AI-native businesses alongside ambitious founders and operators in Southeast Asia. Trained in Physics at the University of Cambridge, Brendan began his career in deep-tech analysis before moving into investment, partnerships, and ecosystem development within Sunway iLabs, the corporate venture capital arm of one of Malaysia's largest conglomerates. There, he worked across venture evaluation, founder engagement, and strategic partnerships — gaining first-hand exposure to how large organizations deploy capital, experiment with innovation, and where they consistently stall. Over the past few years, Brendan has shifted fully into company building. He has worked hands-on with startups, SMEs, and innovation teams to identify where value leaks in real operations, and to turn those bottlenecks into products, systems, and new revenue lines. In parallel, Brendan has repeatedly built and scaled builder ecosystems at speed. He grew a local builder community from 8 to over 1,000 members in under a year, and went on to help catalyze a region-wide movement that brought together more than 1,000 builders across five countries in just three weeks. These efforts were not media campaigns, but execution-driven networks built around shipping, learning, and collaboration.
